Ah t'was excellent BUT (<------ see that, there's always a BUT), I could barely follow it. Either I wasn't fully awake or they just cramed wayyyyy too much into 3 hours! Still though, stunning scenes and sound that will blow blow the eardrums clean out of your head if you're not ready for it! (<---- see that, That was a shit joke!)
sorry Dela, that was uncalled for.. I will go to the classroom and write on the chalkboard 100 times: I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. I will not make fun of Dela.. Until my hands get carpal tunnel syndrome and fall off.. heh.
ammmmm hmmmmmm ammmmmmm hmmmmmmmm ammmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmm ammmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmm ammmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmmmm ammmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmmm ammmmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm o look just fusk you cause I cant think of anything else. :-(
Yes, VCD, this is exactly what I was talking about about a zillion posts earlier. Kinda strange, it was not likely to happen this time, but you managed. Few people would have done it in such fashion, style and good taste... Now it's easier to understand why this forum is called "safety valve". Congratulations, guys. You are both insane! X-) lol, lol, lol... I'll be seeing TLOTR2 as soon as I can. 6 people at the cinema, even at 1:00 am? Unthinkable here! Every ticket sold out for two or three weeks in advance, unless you like to be sitting at the first row. I don't, I'd rather keep my eyes on, so I'll wait a couple of weeks.
Nah this was 1.00pm. There was only about 6 or 7 ppl there. I work in the cinema so I can tell you that at 1:00am and anytime after 5:00pm the place is jam packed and I'm run off my feat. I'm gettin paid a lot though but unfortunately I had to go to school a few times after gettin home at 4 after the last showing but the compensated me for that Jaysus by next week, I'll hate the movie from seeing it so much. BTW, any1 got a lend of a PAL DVCAM. lol J/K
Dela, if you manage to outcome that crappy LOTR2 TS Cam screener circulating at hmmm... let's say here and there (oops, piracy related stuff..) then I'll lend my CAM for you.
No, I don't think so anyway. The CAM is wicked nice quality!! I havent been on irc much and vcdquality seems to be down today, lol probably all the ppl who have nothin to do lookin for a good movie to download!
I can honestly say that I don't think there is such a thing as a "good quality cam" when it comes to movies.. I only like DVD rips, the rest are not worth watching.. I have seen pre-release screeners before which were digital copies, for example: Monster's Inc., Spiderman, Star Wars: attack of the clones, these movies all had DVD quality rips out way before the DVD, some of them even while they were still in theaters! These "screeners" are awesome, hopefully they come out with one for 2 towers!
Actually the two towers cam got a worldwide rating of 9 for video and 8 for audio! The only problem was the little darkness you'd expect from a cam. The TS of this movie was useless compaired to the cam. In fact ppl are saying its the highest quality cam ever released. There is no dvd screener released of the two towers just yet but they are floating around everywhere so it wont be too long! vcdquality isnt workin at the moment either so I don't know what kind of releases were made through Christmas!
From 'Barely Palpable Productions", my favourite movie is actually, the "extras" material from the "Attack Of The Killer Kumquats" dvd. The actual movie is only 1-1/2 minutes long, but thankfully, the 'extras' stuff manages to bloat the disc into a DVD9 dual-layer thingee, so as to inhibit all attempts at backup. This movie was pieced together from the outtakes swept up off the basement floor after producing "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes". The "Making Of The Killer Kumquats" extra stuff, actually shows this slinky looking guy peeling strips of celluloid film off his boots, and wiping away the grease from the previous night's Kentucky Fried Chicken. The film is rather grainy though, and shows several spots where old cigarrette butts burned through the film. However, the film is anamorphically enhanced for "Black And White Standard Televisions", and shows black bars on each *side* of the screen. Destined to become an instant cult classic, be sure to reserve *your* copy of "The Making Of The Killer Kumquats" today! Only 99.99 + shipping + taxes + insurance + reservation fee + club membership fee + duty & customs. All sales final. No refunds. All copies are sold 'as-is'. Void where prohibited by law. All major credit cards accepted. And don't forget, you can get UNLIMITED dvd rentals from netflix.com (unless you're using dvdxcopy of course). Dela, is VCDJunkie making 'fun' of you again? Outrageous!!!! You're very likely the smartest 16-year-old I ever (cyberspace-wise) met !!! -- A_Bored Klingon --
"Making Of The Killer Kumquats" ??? Klingy, you are something special! Anyhow, I saw TLOTR2 on Sunday, was an excellent movie but it leaves you hanging and wanting more.. guess its to be expected, we all knew it was a trilogy before the first movie ever came out! Has anybody seen Star Trek Nemesis ?? I want to see it and wondering if its worth the $9.00 at the theater..
Klingy, lol & thanx mate ;-) VCD, Star Trek nemises is supposed to be excellent but I don't like star trek that much so I have mine coming at 55kb/s. LOTR2, is a good show no doubt about that but it leaves you bored for about 1 hour and a half and then trys to fit wayyyy too much into the last hour. You do feel in a need for more at the end but at least we will definetly be anticipating lotr3 highly which is due to be released December 17th 2003. However, The Return of the King is already made so we could see an internet release extremely fast!!
Junkie, did do spend my time with Nemesis... What should I say then about the film...Well, neat little thing would descripe that movie best...It wasn't that bad, but wasn't anything spectacular (we are talking about trekkie-rate scale here..). Shortly, lags bit of needed amount of sci-fi, but storyline itself is ok I guess. Worth of nine dolla? well, maybe if you consider Jean-Luck being sexy as hell... and want to through Data with AOL-disk number ???.. Btw, just to make things clear, there are two cam version of lotr2, I'll take Dela was talking about UTI, right? Cause Ts-FTF is top most mediocre quality relatively speaking (when speaking about vdc-releases in general). And believe me, I have something to compare to..
Ye I was talkin about the UTi because its the best version yet. ftf, newfxp or tcf didnt have anything on the UTi release. The quality is amazing for a cam! Of coarse any kazaa users will most likely be completely limited to ftf so they will never know that p2p goes a lot higher than kazaa! I compared the smaple of the ftf TS to a small bit downloaded from kazaa of the ftf and of coarse the kazaa version had the annoying "TMD-Moviez irc.criten.net" at the end of the screen that causes all that purple shit all over the movie. Why ruin a movie like that?? I spouse ppl just dont want to wait for the much higher quality 1.8gig version so they settle for the kazaa 500mb job, lol. Anyway enough about ftf, their release was nuked for a reason and that was that their TS was worse than two CAM's (I now TS's are basically cams but you'd expect the sound maybe even to be better on ftf!). Anyway enuff said about those releases. I'm marking one week until we see a screener, probably a vhs 2 vcd screener but who cares. I'll wait for the dvd screener to get it again for now I'll settle with my UTi.
Casino, Ronin, a while bunch of other great classics. Swordfish, Heat, too many to name or even to remember!
