    I started my account 29 November 2002.
and the reason was because of 321 studios who came out with dvdxcopy version 1.0.the program was able to burn a dvd movie to two disks..
    with no compression......

I started my account august 8th, 2003. I started with questions regarding DVD X Copy because I kept getting error messages when trying to burn ... found out that other software was causing the problem. I didn't really use the site much until 2005.

January 14th 2005 and can't honestly remember how and why i came to be a permanent fixture here. Have visited over the years via my gazillion daily google searches but something must've made me stay that time. Guess it was dvd-related, really can't remember

I created my first account (Daniel_G) here toward the end of august of last year, because AD had such fine tutorials on how to work with the now dicontinued DVDDecrypter, and dvd shrink.
And when i saw that it had forums on PS2 modding and such, i was hooked :)

Feb 13 2003 because I'd just bought The Young Ones: Every Stoopid Episode only to find that DVD XCopy at the time couldn't handle episodic discs - it'd only copy the first episode on the disc. I googled Xcopy, found AD's Xcopy forum, found out XCopy couldn't do it then clicked the link to AD and never looked back (or went away for that matter).

    hi all

    [bold]10 April 2003[/bold]

i came here first to learn game backing up and spent alot of time up on CDR forums with shoey the moderator (is he still around?) we used to test games with 2 sheep burners with the dreaded SAFEDISC / SERCUROM protections... with the likes of Alocohol120% + BlindWrite suite, had a lot of fun with all that...

Then i moved on to video stuff, re encoding, burning, apps used, computer issues with said prosesses, then leaned towards xvids, bin/cue, mpegs etc...

yeah its been fun and still is, met some good people on here and become friends too.

one thing i have learnt overall is that you are never to old to learn!

    peace all.................

*DvdXcopy a wolf in sheep clothes - ummmmm*

    Rotary,

I haven't seen Shoey for quite some time. He was an amazing resource for backing up games and burning in general wasn't he? He taught me everything I know about backing up games. Man, I miss him................
