I was learning how to use DVD Shrink and did a yahoo search. One of the Best sites I have found. I have learned so much about PCs since joining AD.

I joined AfterDawn on November 28, 2005 and since then I have posted 354 messages to the forums. I remember searching for some stuff on google for some DVD stuff and going to some really shady sites by accident. I remember when I went back to google i saw that a TON of the results for my search were for a site called AfterDawn. So I thought I would give it a shot and Ive been hooked ever since. This was my first thread. I got a laugh out of it. Heres the link if you want to give it a look . . .

    I officially joined on October 3, 2005.

I first got a DVD burner in summer 2005 and this site is the first thing that came up when Googling "how to copy DVD's". I mostly searched for existing threads at first and learned the ropes. Eventually created an account to ask more specific questions that weren't already answered on the forums. I got some great help from Creaky, Gwendolin and others.

I always thought is was kind of cool that strangers sometimes take a considerable amount of time during their day to help another stranger with their problems. I figured I too should help where I could, so I stuck around.

I made my account on 26 November 2005. As i can remember i didnt even know how to work a forum but i was going to try, i had to learn how to doo something of which i thought was important then...but apperantly its not cuz i forgot what it was.

I never used my account until my xbox broke which i believe was the beggining of April...toook me a while to fix it and also to get my 360.

All in all iam useless and iam a Forum Hobo...i have no place to go. And no money. SO I MAKE AFTERDAWN BY THE BOOZ AND GIMME A HOME FOR MY PICS. Iam a hobo afterall, good ol cardboard Boxes... now if youll excuxe me i must exort my ship into space.....*Flys in Box*

I started mine on October 4th 2005, at the time I was interested in modding my gamecube since my xbox and ps2 were already done. Back then I was getting advice from ice monkey's post on how to do the PSO load exploit, I tried that, and it wasn't all that great. Then the mod chips started coming out, and now I have a qoob pro and my GC works great! I learned a lot about GC modding and pot tweaking and now, I'm one of the only people that still replies to posts on those topics so I guess I learned something and I'm still sharing it with any GC newbs!

Don't really remember how I got here; I think I was googling on DVD Shrink and somehow found this forum; now I'm full-fledged AD Burnout.

I've Lurked around the site since 2002 when A.D. started Hosting Xcopy, reading only, then posting the occasional questions under diffrent usernames which I can't remember for whatever question I needed answering, then leaving.

September 23, 2005 was the day when I guess I came to stay:

    Hi All,
I Joined 7th September 2004 and only just lost my newbie status after posting a whopping 32 messages in 2 years. Not an unusual feat I am sure, but I am not one to post willy Nilly. I find a quick search through the forums always comes up trumps to any of my problems and I've never felt the need to burden the all ready overworked and non-paid "Good Samaritans" that inhabit the boards in the all too late, gloomy, hair pulling nights of afterdawn frustration. Thanks once again to all who have kept me sane when the big hammer has loomed over my overburdened P.C.

    Hi All,
'You have posted 174 messages to our discussion forums since you created your account on 5 August 2003'

I found the site back then when I was trying to get information on backing up my DVD's.
Since then I've used this great resource for DVD issues, PC questions, Camcorders, PS2 questions, etc...
And I like to think I've helped one or two people on the way.

I don't post much, but perhaps this is quality rather than quantity...
