    The updates are automatic but I think only once a month. Thats why you may be over the post count for the next level for a while before you see a change.

    I think I remember drD saying every 4-6 or 6-8 weeks. One of those to is correct. It'll come. Status is not the member level under your name but how you contribute to our community here (IMHO).

    no, that was a comment on zippyd's idea that members should contribute to the community (instead of drag it down with pointless/crappy/ just plain sad posts like mine)
