   when i get a hard drive that isnt, when its OEM, what does it mean when u need additional power ADAPTER?

   I would imagine so ... those adapters arent cheap down to the point like their PATA brethen are so I wouldnt imagine they would be free. You can always goto a quiet computer store and ask around ... they might just give them away cuz they arent THAT expensive either
