It might be time for people to consider dropping Windows altogether. Yes I realize that many might find using Linux a bit daunting, but for those using Windows 10, there's still a couple of years to learn to become proficient before support is ended. For the Power User it's a simple matter of installing Linux to a separate Hard Disk (I prefer that to dual boot) , and swapping between them until they're more comfortable with Linux. The benefit is that you'll still be able to use your Windows games when you want to. Eventually it will allow a user to drop Windows altogether and all it will cost is a repurposed drive or a purchase of a new drive instead of a complete build. My Hardware is powerful enough to handle anything out there except for Microsoft's bullshit. Yes I could manage to get around the compatibility issues using available fixes, but that often comes with its own set of hassles.
