Where are the old skool lot?

You we're lucky!

We lived in a pot hole in the middle of the road. When our Dad got home he would thrash us to within an inch of our lives. For Breakfast we had broken Glass with A lump of Coal! :-D

We had to live in a paper bag in't middle of t'road. Every morning we had to get up, lick road clean with us tongues, then work 26 hours a day down mill for tuppence a year and when we got home our father would murder us in cold blood and dance about on us graves...

 

well,cant top that one,although my parents once lived in a chicken coop.they got the chickens out first of course.lol

 

We need more well armed cashiers who have the know how on this surgical procedure.

Hey guys! Wonder if anyone remembers me? I've not logged on for a number of years, have gained an undergraduate and masters degree in that space of time and set up my own business which now consumes all my time. I see a lot of familiar names posting which is real nostalgic. Hope you're all well.

I see the Admins & Mod names are still the same. Some of us old timers still lurk but don't post much anymore. I retired from work 3 years ago, then last year got a call to come back as service manager again so I'm doing that part time. I get to set my own hours and days and if it snows too much I just work from home. I can manage service from my home computer if necessary. It keeps me awake and moving around. LOL

 

woot.. some old names return.. Hi Rav.. and me old mate as well.. the Kitchen is still up y'know..

Still hear from Josi and JJ and the family.. Lost my guy last year and haven't heard a thing in over 12 months *sigh* .. Other AD old timers?.. Corn I still speak to and a pal who will remain nameless but is a coastguard (lost your email.. gimme a shout

The funniest/nicest thing happened last weekend when Ketola paged me that he was in town. We met 1st time F2F after all these years and had a really nice chat (past, present, future). That gave me the stupid idea of even resurrecting my old/original domain. Nobody prolly gives a damn, but at least I now have a place to write online, if I feel like it.

Wow... AD has been through some changes since i was last on! How you all keeping ?

 

Like all communities, people come and go! Most of the people I knew back in the day such as Praetor, seem to have faded from the scene.

 

Just read ScubaPete died last year....... Very sad to hear that....
