not a big baseball fan myself, but, yeah, i never looked at it that way....actually, angel's stadium is like 20 min. from my house...and the staples center is like 5min away~ too bad i don't like the Lakers, never really did, and now that Shaq is gone all the more reason to never watch~ Kobe sux, totally overrated.
3 things darwin has going for it - chicks, weather, beaches (when theres no blue bottles and crocs) As for sydney, its a sh*t hole as is most of the capital cities, apart from perth, the better areas are down south west (cold but good surf) and north east coast (same reason but warm)
i dont think sydney is a pies of shit its classed one of the worlds most beutiful cities. but i do prefer living in smaller cities wich is not the case today as i live in swedens capital.
its one of the worlds most beautiful cities but then again so are most of australia's capitals, compared to the rest of oz there are alot better places to live, sydney is good for a visit

@arniebear - yup, marina is where it's at. V peaceful. 40mins drive from work but hey, at least it's nice being home! (in the summer anyway) @kivory666 - soz, 'partner' is usual phrase as i'm 'no longer married' lol. When my kids come to stop it becomes somewhat tardis-like!
