    Wow, now that must be a pain in the ass... You go far for parties or do you have them at friend's houses? I personally have never been to one, there are never any around...

    There's one held at my university, so we get taxis there. Last year we lived on site in halls of residence, so it was a 5 minute walk!
    They're great fun if you're into lots of PC games, have a look and see if there are any in your area!

    I bet they are sam! I live in Canton CT, which is near the city but it definetly aint anything like California... Wow, thats so cool you have LAN parties at school.

    There are a couple of "gaming rooms" or places where they already have the pcs set up for you, but most of them are outdated and play the games like crap. (I would image).

    heh, there's always Quake 3 Arena, we used to do that at school!
    For the reference, University is not school, nothing like it. It's far more open and unregulated than school is, and as such there are hundreds of societies, and you're allowed to start your own.

    Typically you are for the first year, then you find your own accommodation for the subsequent years - I'm currently staying in a student house near the university.

    Here is my set up, i've only just built this system for $400 and too think that 3 years ago i spent £1600 on a system and this system is miles better than that one was and they are the similiar spec in respect to the years and advances.

    @rihgt

    Its actually an iPod Nano not a mini ;p

    And no, I am not rolling in the bank nor spending my life savings. The computers are an investment for my future as i need them for school, and the other toys i just pick up here and there. I have to work some times 20 hour days between school and 'work' to have what I have.
