Thats great to hear considering I bought a Mac for their good reputation in reliability. I've already been through 2 laptops that lasted about 2 years, I wanted one that would last a while, oh well so much for that. On the positive side of things, if it does break, it will give me a good excuse to upgrade.
They used to use ATI HD2600s and there were no problems with those, but then they switched to nvidia, seemingly before this issue came about.

@Spenman91 Most of those issues have been fixed though... From talking to people in the apple world If you bought your machine after January of 08 you should be safe!!! And good, matte screens are the way to go! I love my Mac.. I am not into the PC gaming, more of a console person, so I am just waiting for the Mac Pro to be redone and I will probably spring for it just before going off to collage! I just purchased my Macbook Pro this summer so I should be alright. I love the matte screen, it looks amazing. Awesome trebuchet by the way.

Thats exactly why I bought the Macbook Pro from the beginning, I was sick of laptops with integrated graphics, and knew I would regret it if I didn't. I will try to get some updated pictures up sometime, as of now I am really busy with school. I would like to finish my basement before I post anything, for I am now in the process of finishing it and turning it into a game room/home theater with some pc stations.
