With mod enabled, I get FRAG around eject button - flashing red and green when mod is enabled. When mod disabled, the green LED comes on for less than a second, then shuts off. Any tips?

    Thanks =)

do you have it seated correctly? also when i got my lite+ chip the greenlight never stayed on for more than a second and i got tired of wiggling it so i just connecetd the dvd tray with the xbox still opened and unscewed and if the dvd player ejected then your set.

when u take the chip out again completely does ur box come on? if so read below.

u need to put ur chip in place, screw it,not tootight down so u can move it about easily, disable ur chip, power up the xbox and move it around until u get the 2 blue LED's on and the green one. Then power off and enable chip then power on again. If u still get the red/green flash power off then disable chip and move a little making sure green LED still on then try to power up with chip enabled again. you may have to play around a little & just because you have the green LED on doesn't mean its lined up perfectly.
When you turn your chip upside down u see the pins, 6 together then 2 at the edge of the chip. its worth roughing up the 2 pins a bit to get a better contact on the motherboard.

yeah but try and hook up your dvd drive and if it ejects then the mod is working. your mod has to be enabled.

Thanks Daskins and Iggi - questions...

Does the point to the LEFT of the d0 point have to make contact with a pogo pin on the mod chip? I just have to make contact witht hat ONE d) point, correct? I have v1.4/1.5

Do u think I should connect the dvd player even though I am getting the FRAG?

    Thanks!!!

    No luck yet...

    Installing DVD makes no difference.
    Here is what happens:
I enable mod chip, turn on xbox...
The Xbox turns on then off, turns on then off, then turns on and stays on with FRAG...

agreed! all you can do is keep wiggling. the chances are that you have your version right as i think (if my old memory serves me right) you only have 2 options on the 2.3lite+ 1 way for 1.0 and 1.1 and the other way for 1.2 up. I think if you have it set wrong then the chip will just not work it wont cause you problems like your experiencing.
If off to bed anyways, it getting late on this side of the pond. Good luck

    SUCCESSFUL!!!

Green light stays lit when mod disabled.
When mod enabled, DVD pops out with flashing green and orange.

    But guys -
I AM SO sorry... I had the version switch set to 1.0-1.2. I changed it to 1.5. I can't believe I missed that.

Thank you so much for your help.
