Good morning Ireland and everyone! It's a beautiful day here in Philadelphia. Rumor has it that I'm being considered for a post as director on Philly's educational services ... I'll believe it when I see it though (I've been kissing the bootey in that regard lol!)

Being from Florida, before I moved to NC, I can believe it.

Living in downtown Philly, I don't own a car and simply rent one when I need one. I sure don't miss the stress and mess of a long, daily drive to and from work. Years ago, I had a one hour drive each way and it really does get the best of you ...especially now when, I'm sure, the traffic is worse than when I did it.

Good Night All! I have to get up about 4:00 a.m.; I've got a presentation to do at 8:30 and I was too lazy and braindead prepare it today so I'm going to do one of my famous last min. dog and pony shows!

Good Morning Everyone! And, compliments of your's truly, a large coffee for everyone:

It's going to be a strange morning. I've got a presentation to make to some Harrisburg big-shots in about a half hour. As fate would have it, I woke up very early in the morning because me neck was throbbing and hurt like hell so I went to the medicine cabinet and brought out the heavy artilery ...80mg oxycontin tabs and some oxycodone for the pass through pain. While the pain is now much better, I now find myself on another planet entirely and I've now got to do a presentation for some big-wigs. Fear not, however, there is something about oxycontin that makes me very "chatty" ... I may not make a whole lot of sense but I'll dazzle them with my bullsh** LOL! Wish me luck everyone!

gerry, do we need hip waddders for that bs?

@ddp...oh yes indeed! Hip waders are a must! In political/bureaucratic circles, its an art onto itself: a number of different bureaucracies are represented by their best liars all of whom sit and listen to the lying guest speaker who is, naturally, the best liar in his/her organization. The speaker lies, the representatives know you're lying, the speakers knows that they know. What it boils down to is a matter of form, i.e., how well you presented the lies. It really is an artform LOL!

Knowing Gerry, leaving the waders and bringing a snorkel might not be a bad idea ;)
