    @Gerry1,
    Nope, never shot at a frog. My kid suggested I get rid of the sheep and put a cat in it's place, but the other one wanted the froggie from my phone instead, so the froggie won out.

    Good morning all!

    @garmoon:

    Don't forget two things in the astrological calculations: Jesus Christ was born four years before Christ (error from gregorian to julian calanders) and secondly, Dec 25 was simply an adaptation to use the already existing winter solstice celebrations; its more likely that he was born in april or may.

    @arnie... When I have a mind to bore you to death, I'll fill you in on the additions to my victorian whorehouse of an apartment!

    @gerry1

    Actually gerry, due to precession of the equinoxes, the whole astronomical calendar has shifted, already, one sign backwards; since it originated. Due to earth's wobble on it's axis the polar axis circumscribes a tiny patch in the northern sky, southern to. Just so happens the N pole is pointed toward Polaris; that won't be the case in the millenia to come. The whole circuit (aries to aries) takes about 26,000 years.

    What, no comments on Dec 21st, 2012? the supposed end of this cycle according to the Mayan Calendar? That date in question marks the simultaneous end of a 26,000 year cycle, the yearly calendar, their 52 year cycle and their 220 (?) day cycle. Supposedly it marks the transition from this age into another one of great change. Anyone biting?
    (One source says all the deceased cats in the world's history will spontaneously regenerated in a basement somewhere in Phiily, a house adorned with ancient roman statues... wonder if it is Gerry's basement????

    LMAO! I think it was before you got here Billyboy! In my old place, I noticed a stink which got really bad. A large number of alley cats had taken up residence in my basement! There was one huge tom from hell and his harem and offspring, I guess. The floor was earth and sand and they made it one huge litter box. Damned did it stink and cornered alley cats are a force to be reckoned with; you need a suit of armor!

    @Blivet ... I don't remember the specifics but weren't there two or three other totally unconnected civilizations that predicted the exact same month in 2012? I vaguely remember seeing some history channel thing about it and it was kind of spookey LOL!

    MORNING ALL

    free,Download the Microsoft Windows Home Server Release Candidate
    and complete the quick survey. Then, you'll be sent a link enabling you to download the server software for free. Test it out by setting it up on a spare machine in your house. You will also need a Live.com login to participate. Kind of a bummer that Microsoft is making us jump through so many hoops to test its software, but hey -- it's free!
