Good Morning Everyone: A large cup of coffee for everyone:
I won't be around much today or tomorrow; I've got paperwork stacked to the ceiling but I thought I'd provide an interesting lesson in:

The History of the Figleaf in Sculpture:
In the sixteenth or seventeenth century, a sexually repressed/obcessed Pope Somethingorother took a hammer and went about the Vatican smashing off the wee-wees of some of Michelangelo's sculptures, wee-wees which Michelangelo, given his sexual orientation, had sculpted with such loving care. (The Pope had done so with other sculptures as well). Somewhere in the Vatican Museum or reliquary is a (yet to be found) crate of solid marble pee-pees. I'm sure some of my history is wrong but the incident itself did happen. Once again, boys and girls, I've brought you the useful product of years of seminary training.

    Have a good day everyone!

Seems the archbishop had kindred spirits in the US. Note the Soldiers around the ceiling of Union Station in Washington, DC.

Instead of breaking off the peckers, they did a cover up. LOL

Here's a handy currency calculator. Now you can compare most international currencies.
    http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html
Doing rough guesses on the dollar to pound has been easy for some time. The conversion for USD to GBP has been roughly 2:1 for some time. $16.50 to £8.25 isn't far off. The calculator shows $16.80 for £8.25. There's slight fluctuation from day to day.

Here's a horror story for you. I was looking up a motorcycle jacket. A US supplier had the same jacket as a UK supplier only the UK supplier was charging near the same in GBP as the US supplier was charging dollars.
    £329.99 in the UK
    http://www.sussexcruiserclothing.co.uk/jack_daniels_mens_leather_jackets.asp
    and $325 in the US
    http://www.thrillridesport.com/products/jdmo_easyrider.html
Talk about inflation. The US buyer is paying less than half, about £159.6, what the British consumer is charged for the jacket. Even with VAT that seems high.

LOL I was at the station. So far as I know, all the "pistols" are in place. I didn't go around checking all of them. Start going into the corners and looking up too much and I'd say the locals would know you're a "pistol" checker.

@Pac... as you may or may not know, I was in medicine when I was in the marine corps. There were no killed VDs out there; nothing a serious dose of penicillin couldn't take care of. We got more cases of the clap etc. than you can imagine; something of a "badge of honor" to my horny marines. Unfortunately, this gave me and other medics the nickname of "pecker checker" LOL!

LOL I see you caught the joke. Not much has changed, I hear the "checkers" in the military are still hard at work. ;)
