Remember Billybob, put the shiny metal side down when you lay it on the oven belt.

    haha garmoon and ddp :p

    Blitvet, :D

Its cool, theres this huge oven, but its like a conveyer belt in the way that theres no timer or anything, you just place the pizza one one side, and it slowly just goes through the oven and out the other side. I thought that was amazing.

Haha, I had a tooth pulled last week so hats off to you. The ballance is thus restored!

I stopped using ice in my drinks for exactly that reason ... it's happened before and it's a bad habit I got from my mom which you just can't seem to break (unlike your teeth). (I've never heard of corn nuts but I'll stay away from them anyway.)

Trust me, Billybob will lern the benefits of time scheduling and pressure of deadlines, once he gets into the corporate world he'll laugh at all the college weinies who have never worked and gone to class at the same time. I put myself thru college working for Domino's Pizza back in the 70's working from 4-12 or so three nights a week. Billybob you'll be amazed at how much you can do when you plan out your schedule ahead of time. Good Luck Buddy.

@Billybob ... Blivet is absolutely right. It establishes a certain self discipline that serves you well in later years .. even when you needn't have to burn the candle at both ends anymore, there are the occasional times when you'll need the knowledge of how to buckle down when you need to and call it back in an instant. If you don't learn that skill now, you never will.

It was probably the one and only benefit to the "draft" when I was a kid (I believe the Brits called it "conscription"). Crappy as it was for some, given its ultimate purpose) I believe that most guys drafted in the past would say that it taught them some vital "life skills" as is said in our stupid social worker lingo. It isn't forced on you anymore so now its up to the kids to create that circumstance for himself which most simply don't do. (I suppose that makes no sense to you though ... it's one of those "old fart" observations LOL!)

Personally, I don't think you understand the level of dedication required to get top grades at A-Level. People who have just done GCSE's are used to a more saturated truth, whereas through AS topics are covered in there full depth and complexity.

I gave myself time to settle in before I started working when I was in post-16 education, its a bit of a shock when you find out what you where taught prior to advanced education was technically wrong. Sacrificing valuable study hours at the beginning of them is a bad move - take it from someone who's experienced the English education system. Of course if your doing intermediate subjects then there's nothing to worry about...I'm not asking anyone to take my advice, I'm just saying.

A very valid point Rav, here in the states we call it "Teaching for the Test" meaning that the teacher only teaches the students enough to pass the end of grade exam, and ignoring the basic premise to teach the student to learn. My eyes were blown wide open when I made the transition into college life, but soon young BillyBob shall learn.
