    Binkie is no stranger to the SV, but she is definately smarter than all of us who like to stay in the spotlight down here.

    Yep locoeng got it right. Good boy :D
    I don't have the attention span though to keep up with some threads in the sv. And scrolling thru all the long posts got old so I just occasionally pop in to the threads I'm still subscribed to.
    If the mood hits me I'll post :)

    Do good in school there young J :)

    Edit: oops where are my manners :) Morning all from Maryland

    Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Ripper?
    Or should I say Sybil?
    I wonder if he (they) has a town council in his brain each and every morning?

    Its a halo Loco (hmmm ... rhymes). Anyway, I'll submit your name to the Vatican and they can canonize you Saint Loco and make you the patron saint of Choo-Choos. LOL!

    @Loco ... our headquaters is in center city Philly use to be the headquaters of the Pennsylvania Railroad. The lobby has these awsome huge art-deco mosaics of Choo-Choos; I should photograph and send you a couple. They just don't make building lobbies like that anymore; too expensive, I guess. This is a pic of the deco front doors; there is a dept which does nothing but constantly polish brass which is everywhere in the blgd right down to hinges and doorknobs.. can't seal it I guess. Will try to get pics of some of the mosaics inside.

    They don't make 'em like that anymore Gerry that's for sure. While I'm not a train buff by a long shot, I think the pics of those murals would be nice to see.

    I'll take some pics next time I'm there; I work in a satellite office but I'm there often (we paeons call it "the white house" LOL). You don't need an appreciation of trains; it's just plain awsome. The size of a whole wall make of little one quater inch ceramic(?) tiles. Really neat. Will post a pic when I can.

    This is a bronze about 40 feet high. The railroad workers went as a until in the military to build railroads but also to sabotage nazi supply routes. This was a memorial bronze to carry their souls to heaven. Damn, I wish they still built stuff like that!

    @gerry

    The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans probably each thought the same thing during their Empires. They never will build things like they used to. Great old building tho.
