    got to give the members in the safety valve something to blow off steam against so i moved into that forum threads that needed to be chewed out & called the safety valve members wolves. got to keep them fed & docile so they don't attack other members.

    WORDS OF WISDOM

    People are discovering that when you buy any product that is subject to "activation", you haven't really bought anything.

    Ahhh, but you did. You bought the piece of plastic on which the program was pressed. And the packaging surrounding the plastic. :)

    I think I will go with DVDFab...when I have to buy...Since they give me Decrypter's for FREE...

    Or I will go with the King of the Hill..."ProCoder2"

    Nothing wrong with Clone DVD 2...It is a Great product thats all my Uber Computer Buddy uses...Highly recommend for ease of use...

    Yep, CloneDVD2 is the way to go. It's almost as good as the free DVD Shrink. Some people think a little faster is better, so CloneDVD 2 is a winner in that scenario. ;) Plus it's a winner if a person has AnyDVD. AnyDVD is slipping and with some releases has had to have CloneDVD 2 if the user wants a full backup. It's a real winner for Slysoft. They get to sell more software. ;) I just did my last batch of backups with NI4M, RB/CCE, and Nero Express. I'm a proud owner of AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 along with a few of the retail programs from DVDIdle. ;)

    That's strictly a matter of opinion. Industry pros and a lot of the professional trades prefer the offerings from Custom Technology. Most of us know them for Cinema Craft Encoder (CCE).

    DVDFab Decrypter and CloneDVD 2 are different type programs. DVDFab is a decryption software for bypassing copy protection. CloneDVD 2 is for transcoding. CloneDVD 2 is more along the lines of Shrink, Recode, and DVDCopy5. If you're going to be using DVDFab, I'd suggest learning FixVTS (it's another good freebie). Ni4M incorporates the compliance processing as part of the sytem function.

    and actually using FixVTS will give you a cleaner file than anydvd

    Good evening to all....:)

    @Pacman777,
    Do you mean RI4M (RipIt4Me)? Just wondering because I use that program and think it pretty good meself.

    @Lp531,
    You might try DVD-RB Pro. It's cheap and produces a great product even tho it takes a while to create your backup. It can use Procoder2, CCE, HCEnc, or pretty much whichever ENCODER you want to use. I think that it makes the best quality backup if you have high compression and want to stuff it on a DVD-5. Of course I would use RI4M (because FixVTS is included and uses the great app DVDDecrypter) to creat your rip on the HDD and then use DVD-RB Pro from there. In case you don't know it requires the video files on the HDD, so no on the fly stuff with it. Mort81 can give you more info and the real scoop on it. :)

    aabbccdd,
    Hey buddy good to see you helping. lol. You just keep teasin us with Ms. Lima, most of us love it. lol.
