Top o' the freaking afternoon to you people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little dog lost came home about half an hour ago. Wandered up to the porch hungry and crying. Unbelievable around here, she is untouched, just scared and hungry. I just knew for sure she was cougar food, or fox, or coyote. The number of things that will eat a 20 lb puppy around here!!!! Phew.

We rejoice, the little red cow dog carried the luck o' the irish. She is a very brave feisty puppy anyhow, but I was sure she had no chance.

    Thank you all!!!

I hope everyone is having a beautiful freaking day!! The sun is out here and it is righteous.

@Kitty...how old is this "puppy". I had a kitty that wasn't as young as she looked; the little hussie took off only once for a night on the town only to deliver a litter of kitties some months later.

Ripper, Yep. I just don't get the time these days, but don't worry - I plan on making a comeback pretty soon.

I'll have a look at your question in that thread :)

    EDIT: Answered it.

@gerry - you are killing me dude...lmao...! She is just barely 4 months old. She was born here on the ranch so I know for sure!

@greensman - thanks! I sure hope she has. She stayed very close to the porch today & did not go past her front yard all afternoon.

@ddp - mmmmmmmm...fresh meat...keeps my pack happy!!!!!!! Freebies no good indeed! WTF over? Perhaps this one will get the picture before the lightening storm ensues and burns away what's left of the bones. I've seen it happen...eeek.

That was in name alone. The Spanish had been hanging out in the region since the early 1500s. The Florida settlements came about near the same time. St. Augustine was the first permanent settlement if I remember right, there was some earlier ones, but they didn't last. Back then the Mexican region was called New Spain.

That's cool. I like the Bakersfield country sound, Classic Rock and Rockabilly. I'm into classic cars and hotrods (I've owned a few, but mainly an onlooker now, can't afford everything), motorcycles, and boats, computers are my cold weather hobby. When the weather is nice, I'm likely to be found just about anywhere there's a big bike or rod rally. You can have top country stars in one bar and just down the road a good rock group. The crowds and money bring out the stars. LOL

Glad to hear the pup made it home. We love our dogs, but I don't know which is more cruel, locking them up for their own protection or letting them roam and take their chances. Does this one abandon the pack or don't you have other dogs?
