Yeah, there's plenty. They just aren't active, nothing to worry about though. And no, Lethal's a staff member.

I have been following this PROBLEM since day one. On several different occasions I almost hit the reply button to add some general comments but decided to take one step back and not post. The reason being that I have a great deal of respect for those involved. I was worried about my GENERAL comments being taken the wrong way and possibly looking as if I was taking one side or the other. To keep that from happening, I just stayed completely out of it. I think this would have been a good suggestion for others too.

At this point we need to get things back to normal and the best way to do that is to stop bringing it back up and asking questions about what happened. I belong to many different types of forums. Some have MODS that get power hungry with that title under their name. Its my opinion that Afterdawn has some of the best mods around. In my time here I have not seen any mod abuse the power given to them. So I give a WELL DONE to all of you.

DDP, I would think you still are lurking and reading these threads, so come on back to us. The forum needs you both as a mod and with the knowledge you have for others. Just one old-timers outlook on this.

    Jerry

I agree with everything neph and creaky said and well said at that, but wow it is getting kinda nuts, were almost becoming old ladies here and no offense to old ladies just an expression, most are great, and as far as ddp, he'll be back I'm sure, AD is addictive.

I couldn't have said that any better nor support it any more so. Well said Jerry.

If closing the thread will bring ddp back, then I'm fine with that too. One thread is not worth the price of a good mod.

    afternoon

"We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone
    get
along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation
safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free
    liberty
to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more
    time
to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally
    whiny,
guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these
    truths to
be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of
    Rights
and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights."

the god thing is not 100% accurate, ireland, but i do agree with most of that.

    *edit*
quoting from a member on anohter forum:
"The idea that the United States of America is a Christian nation is 100% wrong.

    Taken from:
    http://www.nobeliefs.com/Tripoli.htm

The following sentence appears in the text of the Treaty of Tripoli, an official United States document:
"...the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion..."

    Quoting the same page:
"The Senate approved the treaty on June 7, 1797, and officially ratified by the Senate with John Adams signature on 10 June, 1797. "
"So here we have a clear admission by the United States in 1797 that our government did not found itself upon Christianity."
"Although the Treaty of Tripoli under agreement only lasted a few years and no longer has legal status, it clearly represented the feelings of our Founding Fathers at the beginning of the American government."

    About "In God We Trust:"
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_God_we_trust
"In God We Trust" was adopted as the United States motto in 1956, when the country was already 180 years old. It was passed and signed then only because of the McCarthy era's knee jerk oppositions to Communism, which was officially atheist."
