Blueridge is pretty nice, but it is really out there. You have to drive for at least an hour or 2 to get to a major city. If your from England prepare for 100% culture shock.
joeymac, Been there, done that - Not in Finland, in the "High Country," the "Rockies" Nice that is, the water is algie free, the fish are sluggish and easy to grab by hand - Nothing better than fresh trout for dinner, caught by hand and still alive when put in the cooler for the ride home - You ever been cave diving in Belize ??
I'm originally from Juneau, AK... Now live in Seattle,WA Mariners... Suck Sonics... Suck Seahawks...Suck golfguy10, Check back in 4-5 months
Scuba Pete No, I have never been to Belize. The experience diving under the ice and swimimg between 'snort' holes, focuses the mind. Good to see a senior member surfing through the site. Your experience in the world of DVD burning seems to be very extensive (many thanks for sharing your experience) Carpe Diem
Wow, a whole month how can you live. I guess I shouldn`t move from Canada. That month would be too much
Anything over 22C (72F) and I start to melt. Its 25C (77F) here right now and I am hot wearing shorts. I love the summer!!
IS it a dry hot or is it really humid. I can`t stand the humidity. I hear Vegas is terrible for that, now with all the swimming pools, appearently it gets crazy humid.
We dont even know what humidity is, maybe 4% on a bad day so ya dry hot but we always have a 5-10 mph breeze _X_X_X_X_X_[small]AMD Athlon 64 3200+ || MSI Neo-FIS2R || 512 Corsair XMS 3200 || 36.7GB Raptor SATA || Hitachi 80GB SATA || Lite On 411s @ 811s || SAPPHIRE RADEON 9800PRO[/small]
