Where do you work?

    What do you do for your day job, or do you have your own business? How much do you earn (you dont have to answer that one if you dont want to) ?

    Well i work in a family run computer company ive been working here for 7 years (yes the customers questions are getting to me now lol) and i get a lot of PEBKAC's!....

    So where do you work? Do you like it? Whats the most anoying thing at your work?

    I'm in the semiconductor industry making photomask blanks, the very beginning of our wonderful computer chips.

    Currently, I am working at the US's #1 Printing Manufacture.

    We do about 150 million books a year, and several thousand different ones.

    Ever read Lord of the Rings, anime novels, or any of the books on best seller lists? We print the pages, make the binds, and ship the books out to the stores.

    I also have a side pc business here in the area that I live.

    ;)

    BTW...If you ever wanted a copy of the Davinci Code, let me know, and I get you one for 25 cents, hardback. All of our books are available to us for 10-25 cents. So let me know.

    My job is only part-time I make weekly trips to the local blood bank donate a pint and am able to support all my nasty habits. Seriously, I am a Social Worker, you know the underpaid, overworked and burned out profession.

    I sit at my computer and research porn on the internet and bookmark them all for study (thats what i tell my wife). OH and for pay I am a robotic engineer, Spray paint applications. Yes, robotics are taking your uneducated jobs, STAY IN SCHOOL.

    I agree. Poorer countries are taking uneducated jobs too.

    Kids, if you want to have a decent job you NEED an education now. It's the only way to stay competitive in the workforce.

    I am a consulting engineer, (Civil) Most of the work that I do, which hasn't been enough, lately, is for local communities and architects.

    My business is a sole proprietorship, with me being the only employee. :)
