Hi, living in south dublin with n*l on mmds. I would like to buy a digital receiver but dont know much about them. Which box will work in my area? Starview? DBox? Friend has Starview (not sure which version) working on n*l mmds. Is it possible to copy his exact settings or firmware and transfer onto a new box? cheers

Easiest ways are a box to box transfer using a null modem cable. Or to flash the box with the latest version and get a channel dump from them and put that on your box. Do not look on fleabay as all your will more than likely find is clone boxes. The latest version of Starview is called "The Box" ,(there has been recent reports that they have been cloned too, but seeing is believing). Send a pm to either Fergusrb or Mainanm as they know the best places to sort you out. Any problems just drop back. And by the way they are easy to set up.
