    I JUST LOOKED AT ONE CAPTURE CARD FOR $4,500.00.
    I don´t think so.
    Anyway, your suggestion is welcome.
    I have an open mind, if I don´t like it, I let you know.

    Beware, these may seem a little expensive, but the output quality is as good as it gets.
    If you just want backup copies of VHS for storage, and aren't so worried about quality, it can be done much cheaper. (hardware mpeg-2 capture card).
    If you really don't care about the quality at all, it can be done for less than $50 (just a simple TBC to defeat macrovision).
