A friend of mine lives in Donabate and wants to know if he can get something like a Eurovox decoder...

He has cable to his house with set top boxes from N*L

I think this must be MMDS over cable....???? but I'm not sure.

Can anyone in Donabate confirm please?

hello raymo.. my brother uses the eurovox max v out in donabate..it is a mmds signal coming in to the house from ntl he has but doesnt have his own aerial.. i think they are piped out from a base station or something..not 100% sure but am sure it works.. use the n*l symbol rate and you will get 94 channels

If it is definitely NTL any of the boxes will work whether is is mmds or true cable, it is the Chorus mmds that needs the box - t.

So they can go for whatever box they want.
