I want to be able to transfer my home VHS tapes to dvd + or -. I don't need the ability copy copy-protected VHS tapes, only home movies. I already have a VHS player, so I don't necessarily need a combo unit. I only need standard RCA connections in. Also, I already have a nice dvd player, so this burner won't need to replace it. Sams club has an elcheapo $80 unit from Magnavox. Would it be enough for what I need?
