I burned an AVI to DVD as outline in the guide using BeSweet to convert the audio and then TEMPGenc followed by IFOEdit. Everything came out great after a couple of attempts. However, The DVD will play on my computer, a new $50 DVD player, but not on my $300 JVC player bought a few years ago. WHat I am wondering is that the JVC player does not support MP3 files. By encoding the audio as MP2, is this why the audio will not play in the JVC player? Should I have converted it to WAV instead? Also, will I still get 5.1 audio from a WAV ausio file?

    Thanks in advance

BeSweet is THE aplication. You can do all the conversions . But garbage in -> garbage out. You cannot make a AC3 5.1 sound from a MP2 sound! You can do, at the most, a 5.1 DD-WAV.
