I use Kapersky.
Me too, what do you think of kasperksy, id have to say its pretty good same with AVG and Avast!?
yeah i like kapersky, doesnt hog up my resources...
i notice sometimes avatars or certain things not showing on pages, i doubt that has do with it. i think its my peerguardian.
having very good luck with my Trend Mirco PC-cillin
yeah i heard pc cillin was real good. how is it as far as boggin down the comp?? think its better than kapersky
doesnt use to many resources BUT i do have a hell of a machine as in my sig.
yeah i only understand part of it, haha. you got the see through shell and flashy lights goin on??
those towers look awesome
I just stopped using my fix-it utilities/Trend-Micro scanner, and am giving AVG a shot. Everytime it found a virus, and I'm not sure why, it wouldn't let me delete it; the best I could do was either do a scan, or hunt down the file myself and delete it. They were mostly java things (and to hunt them down meant I had to enable hidden files... basically, it got old.)
8 viruses so far.
I use Trend Mirco PC-cillin and it works really well.
OK guys, now 2 years after this thread started..., in your opinion, which is the best antivirus???
depends on the individual as each will say their's is best av.
I've used AVG Free on my windows box for years and have never had an infection. If only it worked for "other" things...........................................
yeah, those infections... lol
i'm trying out avg free now. i've been using norton since the beginning of time, and yesterday i had it with their new activation system.
out of what i used i would say kaspersky is the best AV how about you?
NOD32 is in my opinion the best antivirus, mainly because it uses so little resources.
NOD32, Avast!, and KAV are all pretty good.
Personally, I use Avira AntiVir free edition... mainly because my parents don't want to spend money on the non-free ones.
I have used AVG in the past but have not tried Avast!, so I cannot endorse its effectiveness
i've stuck with my triple threat team which have been almost 100% good to me.. and they are
Kaspersky(since everyone in this thread mispells forgot how to spell it lol)
Ewido *is* AVG Anti-Spyware now. Go with the free solution!
