No, but I do get this repetitive urge to act out the part of the movies' script in a synthesis, where I'm playing a game of darts with Bullseye in a pub and he always loses. Hmm!

Oh yeah baby....Would you like for me to quote any of several movies from start to finish verbatim? I believe I can do it, thanks to this forum making me so sick of them I'll never want to watch 'em again! lol OK, sophocles, watched both of 'em, no flaws all the way thru except one little freeze that was minimal(barely noticeable) , I do seriously think the error is in v2.69. I am doing Needful Things (anything with S. King is always long and a good test)right now. If it passes muster I've got to believe CCE 2.69 was at the root of all my problems. brobear, how ya doin' man, have you tried Rebuilder/CCE yet? We'd been talkin' about it but I couldn't remember if you had or not. One other thing FYI, the new version of Decrypter is out, looks like a lot of improv's. Also the new updates for Nero Ultra 6 is out-packs 1-4, and we'll all skip #3. OK, back to King, hope all are doin' fine.

Come and join us. BigO and I can help you get started.

I'm beginning to think that its not CCE but perhaps Avisynth or who knows. All CCE does is encode the infortmation sent to it by the frame-server and the frontend.

Sophocles, I really have no idea, but the only thing I've changed is 2.69 to 2.67 so why the difference? Also when I used dvd2dvdr it specified to use 2.67, so there must be some difference. Again you know more about these matters than I, but all I know is rebuilder is now working for me with Remake(I think LOL). signed, confused, but happy

Be happy and keep reporting what works. We all started together but we've grown and branched off into our own directions. Not always together but always in touch with each other and as a result we've learned from each other and shared it with a lot of people.

The bear is trying to keep from getting hung. I got the remake to find I needed the remake pro, or so I heard. And the cce isn't a cheap program. With all the other software I've purchased, I'm having trouble rationalizing the purchase of more. I know I would never purchase the full working version of cce sp.

brobear, I don't blame ya, but you don't have to have remake pro, and tho CCE is 58.00 the quality is definitely the best of all with rebuilder and be able to keep menus.

I might consider trying it for the $58. My impression was that for it to work properly, one needed the remake pro, and cce sp.

oh yeah like I got 2,000.00 to burn. Actually mackemX has remake pro at his site for 35.00 and it is nicer, but remake, the regular version still blows away anything I've seen.

I've used the remake and burned it with DVDCopy2. Came out okay. But the titles I blocked out in the beginning of the movie left a blank screen that was still as long as the titles would have been (or seemed so).

It must've been something before 2.0. Starting with 2.0 there is an "autobypass" feature implemented which automaticaly redirects navigation to jump over hidden pieces.

And bigorange is right you don't need a Pro version to strip things (even angles). It is only for those who want to get into DVD guts :)

As dimad stated that can be overcome but if you're just trying to get the movie only then you can select that with DVDcompy2, it's an onboard feature.

Hey guys, the new shrink is out next week! Supposedly it can take several hours to get the quality comparing to dvdcopy 2 and Instantcopy 8. Here's a link:

Version 3.2 is scheduled for release next week. In the meantime, I made some documentation for the likely new settings:

bigorange, you forgot to add the following was quoted from dvdshrink. ;)

Just working with the remake to see what would happen. A lot of what I did could be achieved with Recode2, XCopy, and DVDCopy2 or even DVD Shrink. (Waiting to see the improved Shrink.) In fact there were some elements I missed that I edited with the DVDCopy2 before I burned. Remake just makes it easier to run through the movie and cut out the parts not wanted.

Yes dimad, guess it was a version issue. Wonder why they didn't get it right sooner? After all, that is the reason for cutting things out, not to have to watch them, as well as the compression. I'd just as soon watch titles as watch an empty screen for an extended period.

    Big O,
I updated the firmware on my burner. I wasn't experiencing any problems. I did it to keep from running into any on down the road. Who knows, it might make it perform better.

We got it the first time, quotes weren't necessary. Most know the guy with the nick Shrink is the author of DVD Shrink. Other than the pirates at DVDClone, when one mentions working on the DVD Shrink, we know it is Shrink on the com. (Just couldn't resist that pirate thing, thanks for the opening ddlooping.)
