Who else is using the Xenium ICE?

    Double check your soldered points. They can get very tiny and tricky. I'm a new-B myself not to long ago. Take your time to compared. Follows as instructed.

    yeah, check your solder points, and if you used a solderless adapter, try applying more pressure. also, make sure that d0 is in the right spot. i think thats most likely your issue.

    Im using the solderless adapter. I tried turning on the Xbox while pushing down on the chip and it worked, but there is no way of tightening it any more. Should I just get the adapter replaced?

    one way is to applied just a small amount of solder along the side to the pin header(whichever one is lose to the chip). just a tiny amount will help your chip to fit right in. if it to tight you can smooth it up until your ICE are satified.

    Don't return unless it is broken!

    follows instruction in http://www.midsouthmods.com/files/iceguide.pdf under "replacing/upgrading the hard disk drive". get "Slayers EvoX Auto Installer 2.5" from usual places. now flash with either Evox M8_16 Bios or X2 4983.67 Bios if you haven't done that yet. shouldn't be hard to find them.

    i just installed my xenium ice on my xbox v1.6 last night and am running evox. i noticed that backup games ran from dvd-rs freeze after a few minutes and backup on my hdd work fine. My xbox has the samsung dvd rom. any one else experience these problems?

    I have Xenium Ice Solderless with 160 gig hd, evox dash with m8 bios. I CANT GET LIVE GAMES TO WORK!!! AHHHHH SOMEONE HELP PLEASE. WHEN I HIT START IT GOES BACK TO SAME SCREEN! HELP!

    did you do the drive upgrade wizzard in the ICE's OS? If so, you might wanna check out the xbox-scene.com forums, and search a little for an answer. I think you have to format the c: partition on the new drive, then copy all the backed up files over from your c: partition of your ORIGINAL drive.

    Hi, Im kinda new at the whole Xbox modding scence. I bought a Xenium Ice (solderless) and installed that with no problems, and the xternal led. But i cant figure out how to install the USb adaptor?

    The adapter goes into one of your controller ports.
