OPOY, ADSL 8/1 megs, waiting the bastards to upgrade my local exchange to VDSL (10/10) as it costs the same per month (depending on various factors, about €60 a month without static IP).

Download speeds from servers that can handle it (its typically the server that is the slow part) are about 700kilobytes/sec. And no monthly caps, but P2P traffic is shaped down to around 25-30 kilobytes/sec, so FTP is the way to go..

Iowatelecom is the service currently putting the screws to me for my dsl. I'm paying 45 bucks a month for 512 down & 256 up (although I never see either speed). I tend to get around 490 down and 225 up according to the speed tests. I wanted to bump it up to 768, but they were going to nail me for a whooping 100 dollars a month. Yes Iowatelecom, I would like a sampler packet of KY Jelly for that screwing.
