I play the same avi in Windows Media Player 11 (WMP) and WMP classic and the colors, contrast, saturation look much better in 11 than in classic. I have them side by side so the difference is noticeable. Is there a way to have the same color enhancements in classic? Also does WMP classic have "fit video to player" when I play a video with it? Thanks.
classic uses a lot less memory and precious system strength, so there is a loss when playing video and such, what codec pack/stand alone are you using to view those AVI's with? sometimes they wont register quite right with WMPC unless its using the latest version http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm you should uninstall the codecs then reinstall them after you've updated WMPC
