Why cant i make a halo sever

    what exactly is the problem you are having when you try to create the server?

    when i make server
    ... i can get in and play thats all good but no1 can join it
    it says unable 2 connect or something

    Are you trying to play over a LAN or over the internet? If you are playing over the internet you need to open ports 2302 and 2303 on your router and if you have firewall installed on your computer you need to open those ports on that firewall as well.

    yer internet and i dont have a router its a
    siemens
    speedstream 4200
    adsl modem
    so how do i unlock the ports on that????
    and on my firewall im running zone alarm

    sweet now i cant remember the numbers 2 get in 2 the modem settings
    where can i find them

    you may need to contact your dsl provider for that information.

    ok i took all my firwalls off :( and all my ports r open
    but it still wont work????
    plz help

    I'm having the same problem -- firewall disabled, internet working fine, no router...
