Why can't we ask where to get subtitles (just wondering)

    I'm not asking where (because I don't need any), but why aren't we allowed to ask such a question? I'm sure it won't take much explaination.

    Because dRD says so:

    "In addition, you should remember that [bold]asking where to find/download subtitle files for movies is strictly prohibited here![/bold]"


    Technically all fan-made-subtitles are illegal. And most of the sites where you can download them, they are fan made... so thats why.

    I'm sorry but whatever person or group of people made "fan-made subtitles" illegal has to be a real ass!

    Well, you need to remember that movies are not always translated to all languages... So it is faster to translate subs yuoself, that wait monnt or two that the movie will be relesed on dvd in your counrty...
