Why connect Dreambox to internet?

    Hi all,

    Just want to pick some brains for a moment.

    I've connected my dreambox 500C to the net through my router and at the moment I'm wondering why you need to do it?
    In otherwords what advantage is there to connecting to the net?
    What benefits do you get?
    At the moment it;s just sitting there and I don't see any difference.

    Just wondering????

    You can download skins,plugins,add-ons,updates,stream to and from your pc, etc...
