why did it die?

i cant get my r4 to work, i've had my ds & r4 for years, and its worked fine
then i stoped using it for awhile, went to turn it on and it just said loading.
i i tried downloading new kernals and it just says can not find _ds_munu.dat
i've tried everything!
help?

 

1)You probably loaded the wrong kernel
2)Cut your losses and buy a new flashcart, preferably something that doesn't have R4 in the name.

Things break. get used to it.

 

i downloaded the right one, reformated first, made sure the _ds_menu.date file was on there, but still wont work.

mabey i will just by a new one.
its just frustrating that i cant work out why

 

not working is not working. sometimes it happens without any clues.
you'd better buy a new one.

 

You need to bring it in the custom-studio. Be sure it will be repaired

i tryed formating it on someone else's computer... & it worked!
