This version is full of bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this version 7.5.9.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/ Update firmware from here http://www.liteonit.com/DOWNLOADS/ODD/SHW-160P6S/firmware/DR16PS0B.rar Poor quality discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in japan) Burning way too fast, slow to 4X
OK....the firmware update failed. It won't go through "Unable to flash firmware. Please contact vendor" is the message I keep getting. That Nero you requested I use has an expired serial key. So I can't install that one.
If you have a legitimate copy of Nero then the serial number that came with your copy is good to use on any updates...
ok....I have that. It came with the burner. But what about not being able to update the firmware? What do I do about that?
OK....it is obvious that these two drives in this computer are dead. They won't even install nero to the computer. I had to share the drive from my other computer in order to install nero to the second one. Still tried to burn in computer 2, and it still fails. Time for a replacement even though these 2 are just a few months old.
