Hi there, i wont ask were my channels are - just about the lead required. i was in maplins and asked - they gave me a usb to serial convertor Rs232 plug and play. my pc has installed the drivers. but i also had to get a gender chnager from male to female for the starview 2 - guy in the shop said everything should work. i've hooked it up to my pc but i dont see my starview on my pc how can i fix this? as my pc has a female port. if i get both leads null modem and usb instead - do i put them both together or something (sorry im a girl) or is the lead i have correct

thanks chicken i have a look.im always on this site and never needed to ask as answers are always there but oh my god - i have never seen so many questions about the channels gone lol
