Why is my audio echoing?

    Hello, I am having a problem where my sound echos, and it's getting really annoying. I have windows XP home. Anyone know how to turn it off?

    hello I recently had the same problem . would you have to do is go to the control panel and access to Sounds audio devices etc menu . in there you should see an icon for the microphone . find it and reduce the volume to a minimum . this should take care of your problem .

    The actual problem was that your computer made a sound and the microphone just kept on repeating it. eventually it got louder and louder.
