Is there anyway to make my pc not so loud? My pc has this BMX thingy that enable it so the pc wouldnt be loud. when i enable it, its still loud. I have gateway 5014 and the tech support sucks.
There are plenty ways to quiet down a computer... what's making the most noise? Ideas: Rubber grommets for the hard drive screws. Rubber gaskets for the case fans. Water cooling instead of CPU/GPU fans.
Make sure all the fans are clean from dust. Tighten..but don't over tighten, the screws that hold everything together. (stop turning when the screwdriver stops)
A computer w/out water coolant system doesnt mean one that doesnt will be loud. I have a................. Pentium 3 GHZ Processor 2 GB Ram Nvidia 256 MB Graphics Card 500 Watt Power supply WITH 3 FANS IN CASE!! one for case,one on processor, one for graphics card, plus the one in power supply and my computer is VERY quiet even w/ all the fans and power usage Noise is 9 out of 10 caused by interior dust and also on fans
i have a gateway with the btx (i assume u meant btx) case andit is very quiet, there is an option in bios to enable/disable cool and quiet, perhaps thats the problem.
