Hey, i recently crossflashed my benq 1620 to B7W9 fw and now it won't burn my sony 08D1 dvd-r's at 2,4x anymore. I've had the best burns when burning it at that speed,and since i used this new fw it will only burn from 4x upwards... I always get the same IO error,with check condition stuff... anyone know what's wrong?
Jurgennop-- What type of media are you using? I had the same problem until I discovered that the media I was using only burned at 4-8X. I don't know much about cross-flashing, but I do flash my lite-on whenever available to update. Whitfield
Was that crossflash a valid one? Like was it the correct flash to perform? I know if you do a wrong one, it can fudge everything up. But whitfield is right, the media could be the culprit.
that media burned fine with the old fw,so that's not the problem,and the fw flash was valid,please someone help me out...
