   Why is it that we can all talk about how to rip ps2, xbox games and other illegal things but we cant talk about downloaded games and how to crack them?

   Because u would have the 'original' cd/dvd with you to rip so you can make a 'backup' copy, whereas if you download, obviously you dont own a copy.
