Now that we`ve seen dual layered DVD technology make its debut is there any chance that our beloved DVD Shrink will get an update to support dual layered burn?

DVD Shrink doesn't burn and so it really will not need an update. Your burning software will have to support dual layer. The most you will have to do in DVD Shrink is manually set a new Target Size. Most DVD-9 discs will not need any compression. Making a compilation in re-author mode may allow you to put several movies on a disc with very little compression.

I believe Nero is going to support dual-layer so we're good there but I wonder if there would be any issues with Decrypter burning 8+ GB ISOs. I don't see why it wouldn't but even if there was some reason it couldn't, I imagine the brilliant fellow developing it would have an update for us :)
