will kryptview work instead of starview

i have done that ferg tanx but when i go into scan the signal strength is 88 but not getting signal quality is this my prob

do you have a live feed and are you on mmds or plain cable ??

where have you got the cable going to top socket ??

have the box super so i just unplugged that and all splitters and changed the connection for the kv

yep thats the right one you still dont say if you are on cable or MMDS aerial on the roof ??

 

sorry ferg its true cable ,but the box super works maybe im doing somethin wrong

 

get 1 of the freq from the super and manually input it into the krypt and see if that works ??

if you are on N** dub try lowest freq but it should have scanned it in unless you are on mmds which some areas are unknown to themselves as it also runs underground as well

yes its because the freq is not right try do a factory default again turn the box off at the back then back on and then do a new auto scan

make sure when you are putting in the provider on top you leave the next box under it set to NETWORK then press the green button only and let it scan

when you get the next window pick legacy channels and press ok and then just leave it and it should pick them up

 

fergusrb can u answer a question for me please what diffrent on the kryptview 700 and 750 .

 

better tuner on the 750 the chassie is different colour that's about it really

 

ok hate to pi** u off here but ive the 700 thinking of buying 750 off my mate he sells them in dublin .how long do u think we will get out of the kryptview?

 

why would you want to buy the same box when the one you have does exactly the same thing as the other same firmware same channels

different color box and tuner im using the older ones as well and dont find any difference so i would keep what i have unless you are going to do something else with the box

and of course it would also depend on the price your mate is giving you of course

there is no way of knowing how long you will get from a box could be a day a week month or years luck of the draw thats all ya can hope for
