Could not find the Sony KDL-40V2500 on JR.com as referenced in your link. If you want a 40" Sony LCD, they do have a Sony KDL-40V4100 Bravia for $1399 with free shipping. It's 1080P and has 4 HDMI connections plus composite and component connections. Best check for gaming purposes is to find a brick & mortar store (BB, Circuit City, etc) which might hook something up so you can make your own opinion. What 1 thinks is good another won't. btw, I think you will have a hard time finding a 40" lcd with a 2 ms response time.
