Win2000 shutsdown slow!!

    about 3 days after i reinstalled win2k it started shutting down really slow. Now this is not a really big problem, but whenever I shut it down, I also turn off the power strip. Now i have to wait about a minute to do so. Would really appreciate some help....Thanks!!
