I was running window blinds for about a week without any problems. Now all the sudden it started dragging down my system REALLY SLOW!!! I had to uninstall it just to be able to use my computer.

    any ideas?

    campusbuds,
just had the same problem. Had windowsblinds5 for about 2 weeks when suddenly it just died basically. When i would reboot my computer wouldnt reboot, as windowsblinds wasnt starting. I feel bad for the people who paid the 50 dollars for that crap.

I am now using stylexp without any problems.

But in stylexp it gave a warning when setting the interface to transparent that it could cause the start menu to black out on some computers. Which was part of my issue. So it may have had something to do with that.

Try downloading a lower version of windows blinds, the new release may be buggy.
