Windowed Mode

    Hi. Ive got a small amount of (old) software on my pc which only play in 800 x 600, and my new monitor only supports 1024 x 768 and up.

    i had "the matrix online" which had trouble, but ive managed to play that in windowed mode and then 800 x 600 works.

    the only trouble is changing the other programs to windowed. in the matrix online, there was a setting in the options, but on the others there arent.

    is there some sort of universal shortcut in windows xp that changes any program into windowed mode?

    Really not sure if this will work but try Alt+Enter, it works for some games but not all.

    you certain your monitor is only 1024x768 & up as that is not usual. default is 640x400

    yeah, its a 30" widescreen lcd tv. nothing 800 x 600 or less will show properly, it just gives a black line over the top half of the screen

    edit> if its any help. the program i want to turn windowed is "driving test success"
