I have Windows 2000 Pro that I want to install on this computer that is running Windows XP Pro. I have a partition ready that I'm gonna install 2000 on. But I can't install it. The CD wont boot up when windows boots up like my Windows XP disc does. It says I need to make a boot disc with floppy discs. Well this computer doesnt have a floppy drive (And I dont want to buy one). I do have a CD drive. Is there a way I can make a Windows 2000 Pro boot disc using a CD-R that can boot when my computer starts up?

Well you could try going in to the bios setup and change it to boot from the cd-rom
