    windows xp isn't dead , despite all the media hype the only thing thats' dead about it is the updates.You won't get any windows updates but still should function normally.
    With everyone pushing windows 8 and trying to force it on us the price of windows 7 may drop.

    I hope the price of Windows7 drops soon. I don't have a touchscreen - so I don't care about Windows8 at all.
