Greetings, I have been having an issue ever since I updated to Windows 7 Pro. Full install from original discs. The computer was working fine with XP. I installed Windows 7 in full and ever since the video freezes when I am watching videos within websites such as YouTube, Facebook, news reels, etc.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    THANK YOU in advance

    Maria

repost with specs of your comp i.e
cpu single or dual & speed so something like 2.0ghz dual core
    ram amount
graphic card if there is one
if your comp is OEM state whether hp,dell etc
At a guess i'd look at graphic card also reducing the video from 1080 or 720 down to the next lowest may net results, would also pay to go into display & switch to classic & disable all aero crap, unless of coarse your missing perhaps flash software or something.Yeah anyway i'd look at your graphics side of things assuming your using onboard so web search how to get performance out of w7 on limited hardware

Thank you scorpNZ for your prompt reply.

Here are the details you ask for

    HP 7500 microtower
    Windows 7 Pro
    Intel duo CPU
    7400 @ 2.80 GHZ 2.80 GHZ
    4 GB
    32 Bit
Display is 1280 x 1024 (that is what is suggested by the Envision monitor and Windows 7 so I've never changed it)

Don't have a clue what you mean by switching to classic and disabling all the aero (hint please?)

right clik on desktop, personalise, basic & high contrast themes, hit classic then once that's done go to view your online vid if it still don't work change it's output to a lower one,on you tube it should be bottom right of vid or somewhere round the video border

update your graphics software & flash video software

    edit:
right clik on desktop then menu appears
left clik personalize in said menu
    new window appears
in that new window use slider to the right to bring classic theme into view then left clik once or twice on classic to change to classic theme.
